Yup! Gotta move! Landlord's selling and we are outa there! 16 years of accumulated treasures and a couple bits of worthless unsellable items that we'll part with for free! I may post some pics tomorrow night, after more stuff is out on display.

Here's a partial list:

COOKBOOKS!!! It turns out that the wife ended up with ALL the cookbooks! No, REALLY! ALL of them. Maybe you think you've seen a lot of cookbooks, but this is over the top. Actually there's probably several hundred, maybe close to a thousand (SERIOUSLY!) and they have to find a new home. Make an offer on them all, but don't try to leave after buying just a couple for pennies on the dollar. We'll hornswoggle you into taking more. In a nice, friendly manner, but hornswoggled none the less.

TOOLS: I am a woodworker by trade and somehow ended up with lots of tools I don't use, maybe never used, and some I have no idea where they came from. Dirt cheap for most, some might be in that aforementioned "free" category. Electrical and plumbing stuff. A full roll of 12-2 Romex and some other wire. Flex conduit. Come and look. Great stuff for the home remodeler or pro alike. Couple of working routers and lots of bits of questionable sharpness. Drill bits. Drills, squares and some cool people to balance that out. Much more! Tired of trying to remember what's out there, so you probably get the drift by now.

HARLEY Parts (see ad under motorcycle parts for sale on craigslist) Some motorcycle leather jackets, small and large.

WOOD and BUILDING MATERIALS: some nice 1x4 and 1x6 boards in oak, mahogany, cherry, maybe some maple and a few pieces of exotic stuff. Might part with a couple purple heart boards I've been hoarding since sometime last century. Convince me on that one. Lots' of small bits of various species, some usable, some might work for firewood.
There's some scrap plywood (free? WAY cheap? Let's haggle on that). A couple nice pieces of carved molding, just enough to not quite do a whole job.

Kitehen stuff: aprons, baking pans, assorted tools, vases

Vintage Clothing: women's and men's. There's a whole bag of NEW black T-shirts with our son's ex electrical business with a really cool logo.

There a gas BBQ that's ended up home for a family of arachnids. I chased most of them off. No extra charge for any remaining 8 leggers. Comes with a gas tank. Not sure how much gas in it, but good for exchange for a full one.

There's 2 BEAUTIFUL hand-made rocking baby cradles. They work like a porch glider and are tall enough to put next to a bed and rock that fussy baby as the parent attempts to regain the 300+ hours of lost sleep since the birth of the little angel. Built with mortise and tenon joinery and will last a lifetime. Worth lots but taking up space and unlikely to be used in this household anymore.

Some toys! Probably not nearly as cool as the new electronic wonders that are so prevalently turning our youth into the ungrateful and bratlike progeny of unmarried fornicators that they are. (Oops, almost slipped into 'rant' mode there)

There's a "CUBELIGHT" system which is a fold-out enclosure for photography of items. Comes with the original light on a tripod, backdrop sheet and all instructions. LIKE NEW and NOT FREE! Reasonable, but NOT FREE. Cost over $500 new.

Other BOOKS - there's a couple of boxes of Sci-Fi books, mostly hardcover. Authors such as Zelazny, Joan De Vinge, L. Ron Hubbard, Ann McAffry (might have spelled that wrong and I'm not getting up to go look, sorry) etc. Some other books, Harley and motorcycle books. LOTS of Motorcycle magazines. CYCLE and Cycle World, Antique Motorcycle Club mags, RIDER, lots more. There's even some 80's and 90's EasyRiders and SuperCycle ("are you looking at those awful smut books again, Billy?" Wait 'til your dad gets home, you're gonna be sorry!" Says the mom) yeah, there's some nudity in them so keep the kids away. Wait, they are teaching that kinda stuff in grade school? Well nevermind.

There a fox fur coat for the anti PETA member of the family.
A mostly used and maybe able to be brought back to live 10 speed bike. Tires flat on the bottom only. Make offer!

Enough already.

Here's where and when:

Saturday! 8:30 AM to probably about 2 or 3. May 25. Beginning of Memorial Day Weekend , which may well be the international Yard Sale Weekend.
Sunday, probably about the same time, unless we sell everything (or give it away, whichever applies) on Saturday.

WHERE:

3676 GLENWOOD AVE,
GLENDALE 91208

This is near where La Crescenta Ave. And Honolulu cross in Montrose/La Crescenta
