My favorite turkey burger - has become a standard in my house. Easy to make. Juicy and full of flavor. Have done with or without the special sauce. Both good.

Delicious even with the substitutions I had to use (regular onions finely chopped and ginger paste). I used 3/4 lb. ground turkey and adjusted the rest of ingredients accordingly. Then I made only two rather thick patties. Instead of on the grill, I cooked in a grill pan on the stove top. They took longer than 8-10 minutes though. All in all burgers were juicy and the sauce was delicious - definitely will make again!

This has been one of our favorites since the June 2006 issue came out. 7 years of delicious turkey burgers! And the kids love them too! Just be careful - the special sauce recipe tends to make a lot more of the sauce than you need for a single recipe of the burgers. I always halve the sauce recipe and still have some left over.

Yummy! I was worried they wouldn't stay together since ever other burger recipe I've seen uses an egg/egg white for binding, but they worked great! Maybe them in the skillet just to be safe and I cooked them a little too long, but they come with their own so it's forgiving. Since I still have left-over sauce, I'm wondering if I could add some to the burgers before cooking...guess I'll just have to make them again to see! Oh, and bonus points for having "Special Sauce." My step-Dad's a big fan of Step-Brothers and very much appreciated the reference and the flavor.

Husband was a bit concerned that the burgers would not hold together on the grill (he compared the consistency to pudding), but they came out fine and were delicious! Special sauce is tasty but not necessary -- the burgers have wonderful flavor on their own.

One of my favorite recipes to make, especially for anyone who doesn't think turkey can taste good (my father-in-law included). Usually a go-to recipe for me when casual company comes over. Very juicy, flavorful burger. I'll try chili sauce next time, that would be good. Husband and in-laws all loved it! Also only 8 points on WWPP.

I liked these burgers - pretty good for a turkey burger. I omitted the bun and added a thin slice of gruyere which was really tasty. Definitely didn't need 2 tablespoons of the special sauce, in my opinion. I would also use less mayo in the sauce next time. All that being said, I'm always looking for a healthier way to have a burger, and I will definitely make these again.

I think the description of the three stars fits this well--a good, solid recipe. It isn't amazing or the most delicious burger or sauce that I've made, but it's interesting and different in a good way. I enjoyed it and it made for a quick, easy meal.

Best turkey burger ever and loved the special sauce! The only changes I made to the recipe were to add a few fresh thyme leaves and some salt and pepper to the turkey mixture before shaping it into patties. I also put the patties in the freezer for 30 mins before cooking so they would hold together better. I topped them with baby spinach leaves and tomato slices, and served with yam fries. Can't wait to have this again!
